Hey! I am Anne and I love cooking and baking for family and friends. In retrospect, my interest in cooking began when I was seven years old sitting on the kitchen counter watching my grandmother bake her hot water chocolate cake (Stay tuned for that yummy recipe). She taught me that cooking was a form of love: love for wonderful flavors and ingredients, a labor of love creating it all, and love for family and friends to whom you serve it.

During my teenage years academics and sports took me away from the kitchen. Yet, while in business school, I rediscovered the joy in creating in the kitchen. I really enjoy cooking, but I especially love to bake. My interest in baking was heightened when I met my husband and his sweet tooth eighteen years ago. He is my top taste-tester, providing constructive feedback and encouragement. However, as our children have grown and our neighbors have discovered my favorite hobby, they too have been inundated with new concoctions of mine to try. You all know who you are and thank you for being my guinea pigs.

Hence, I thought I would start with the sweet stuff. Shouldn’t we all eat dessert first anyway? Life is short. So enjoy and experiment. Bring your girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands, children and grandchildren into the kitchen with you. Who knows what they will someday create with the memories of being in the kitchen with you. But most importantly,

Impress Without Stress!
